Ming Yeh
Founder and Partner
CSC Upshot Ventures
Ming founded Upshot Ventures in 2015, and established CSC Upshot in partnership with AngelList and the CSC Group, to help founders and operator angels seed their companies. Ming has built her career around her passion for connecting capital to technology innovation between the US and Asia. She raised CSC Upshot with capital sources from China, represented by the CSC Group and Baidu, to invest in innovative technology companies in the US. Prior to Upshot, she spent six years in Shanghai as a venture capitalist at SVB Capital (part of SVB Financial Group), headed up its Asia practice. In that capacity, Ming built up SVB’s presence in China and opened its Hong Kong office. During her time in China, she helped Chinese entrepreneurs build globally scalable companies. She served on the board of China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association. Prior to China, Ming also co-founded PacRim Venture Partners in Menlo Park, CA, which like CSC Upshot connected capital from Asia with innovative companies in the US.

Ming currently sits on the board of AAMA (Asian American MultiTechnology Association) and is a member of the Wellesley College Business Leadership Council. Ming holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, a MS in Electrical Engineering from USC and a BA in Physics from Wellesley College.

Ullas Naik

Ullas Naik founded Streamlined Ventures with a vision of building a thought leading investment platform rooted in the philosophical belief that founders of companies are the true heroes of entrepreneurial value creation in our society. Streamlined Ventures invests in and supports visionary founders working on transformational applications and business infrastructure software companies.

Ullas is a seasoned venture capitalist, angel investor and entrepreneur with over two decades of entrepreneurial and early stage investment experience across over 350 companies. Prior to founding Streamlined Ventures, he co-founded investment firm Cota Capital. Prior to that, Ullas was a senior member of the investment team for 12 years at Globespan Capital and helped build the firm.

He has also been an active angel investor over the last 22 years during which he invested in over 60 companies spanning Internet 1.0, Web 2.0, mobile web, social web, enterprise computing as well as disruptive technologies in other domains such as robotics and wearable computing.

Kumar S. Sripadam
General Partner
Elevate Capital
Kumar Sripadam is a technology entrepreneur, business consultant, angel/VC investor and a mentor with 30+ years of experience in the high technology sector. He is currently a GP at Elevate Capital. He is an Executive Committee member of Arc Angel Fund, NYC. He is also the Chair for TiE Angels SV and a Board Member of TiE Silicon Valley. Kumar was a founding member at Redback Networks, a hugely successful IPO company. He has held several senior and executive positions in various startups.

He is involved with several Venture and Angel Funds in various capacities. He served on the boards of Incentive Logic Inc and MetaCert. He is an advisor at Moesif and Truelark. As an active investor he has invested in many funds and as well as 70+ companies with several successful exits. His areas of interest are Enterprise & Application software, Hardware, E-commerce, Networking, Cloud, Big Data, IOT and Digital Health. He is also a mentor and an advisor at many Silicon Valley accelerators and incubators. He is an active speaker on the topics of entrepreneurship and angel investing. He holds an MSEE from Southern Illinois University. He is a member of the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Clint Korver
Co-founder and Managing Director
Ulu Ventures
Clint Korver is co-founder and managing director of Ulu Ventures, a Silicon Valley seed stage venture firm investing in enterprise IT, FinTech, and startups led by diverse founders. An expert in decision-making under uncertainty, he designed Ulu’s investment process to combine data and intuition to minimize cognitive biases, reduce risk, and produce better, more consistent returns.

An active supporter of entrepreneurship within the Stanford community, Clint taught entrepreneurship in the School of Engineering; mentors at StartX, Stanford’s accelerator; and co-founded Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs, one of Stanford’s largest alumni groups.

Over the last 12 years, Clint and his partner Miriam Rivera have invested in more than 130 startups including SoFi, Palantir, Guild, Krux (acquired by Salesforce), Blue River Technology (acquired by John Deere), Homelight, BetterUp, Figure and Guild Education. Prior to Ulu, Clint co-founded four Silicon Valley startups which provided tools to help individuals or organizations make better decisions. He also co-authored a book on ethical decision-making entitled “Ethics for the Real World” (Harvard Business Press 2008).

Clint is a Kauffman Fellow in venture capital and holds a PhD and an MS in decision analysis from Stanford’s School of Engineering and a BA in mathematics from Grinnell College where he served as Chair of the Board of Trustees.
