John E. Park focuses his practice on debt and equity offerings, public securities offerings, recapitalizations, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He assists clients at every stage of the business cycle, from initial company formation, venture capital financings, and M&A, to initial public offerings (IPOs), public company reporting, and general corporate counseling. In addition, John represents acquirers and targets in public-private and private-private business combination transactions.

Charlene Yu Vaughn
CEO The Algonquin Group
Through her work at The Algonquin Group, Ms. Yu Vaughn has served as the strategic advisor to over 50 leading revenue-generating emerging technology and media companies and international ventures in information technology, healthcare/life sciences, clean technology, digital media and consumer products in securing funding and accelerating their strategic growth, revenue, strategic alliances and business development. Her firm, The Algonquin Group, assists privately held and publicly traded US companies in their expansion into Asia Pac (APAC) and APAC and US companies in their expansion globally as well as into the domestic US market.

Sean Knierim
Founder and Partner at SidePorch
Sean has spent his career supporting organizations and individuals committed to making a positive impact on complex issues in our world. Sean is Founder and Partner at SidePorch, a consulting group aimed at supporting organizations driving positive social impact alongside business returns. He is CEO & Portfolio Manager at Estabrook Investors, growing the current absolute return fund-of-funds and alongside establishing a second fund of funds offering that will focus on managers integrating analyses of financial, sustainability and other social impact considerations.

Previously, Sean held executive positions at the MacArthur Foundation and the Jeff Skoll Group, working closely with those organization’s investment arms. Prior to that, Sean spent a decade teaching at the university and high school levels. Sean holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from UNC-Chapel Hill and masters degrees in International Development Policy from Duke University and Interdisciplinary Education from Santa Clara University.


Lara Druyan
Managing Director
Silicon Valley Data Capital
Lara Druyan is a Managing Director with Silicon Valley Data Capital, a seed and early-stage venture capital fund focused on how data are remaking the enterprise. Previously, she worked for RBC where she was the Head of Innovation on the West Coast, responsible for the Bank’s digital transformation. Her team drove 14 new products into production or production pipeline. She and her team initiated, developed KPIs and managed over 20 proofs of concept across the Bank.

Previously, she was the Founding Partner of G&B Partners, an investment and advisory firm focused on technology companies. She also served as a Venture Adviser to SRI International. Previously, she was an Investor in Residence at USVP and a General Partner with an early-stage venture capital firm. Lara also worked at Silicon Graphics as a product manager in its heyday and released a dozen software products. Some of the companies in which she has invested or served as an adviser include: Xactly (XTLY), Powerset (MSFT), Skout (MEET), and Deduce. In 2016, she was named as one of the “Silicon Valley Investors You Need to Know” by Inc. In 2018, she was named as one of the “Innovators to Watch: 44 Executives Shaping the Future of Banking” by Bank Innovation and to Constellation’s “Business Transformation 150”.

Lara serves on the Global Alumni Boards of the Harvard Business School and of the University of Chicago.


Ming Yeh
CSC Upshot Ventures Founder and Partner
Ming founded Upshot Ventures in 2015, and established CSC Upshot in partnership with AngelList and the CSC Group, to help founders and operator angels seed their companies. Ming has built her career around her passion for connecting capital to technology innovation between the US and Asia. She raised CSC Upshot with capital sources from China, represented by the CSC Group and Baidu, to invest in innovative technology companies in the US. Prior to Upshot, she spent six years in Shanghai as a venture capitalist at SVB Capital (part of SVB Financial Group), headed up its Asia practice. In that capacity, Ming built up SVB’s presence in China and opened its Hong Kong office.

During her time in China, she helped Chinese entrepreneurs build globally scalable companies. She served on the board of China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association. Prior to China, Ming also co-founded PacRim Venture Partners in Menlo Park, CA, which like CSC Upshot connected capital from Asia with innovative companies in the US.

Ming currently sits on the board of AAMA (Asian American MultiTechnology Association) and is a member of the Wellesley College Business Leadership Council. Ming holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, a MS in Electrical Engineering from USC and a BA in Physics from Wellesley College.
