The Entrepreneurs Gathering Funding Realities Entrepreneurs and Investors Only November 8, 2005 6-8 pm
[Held the second Tuesday of each month] Host: The Enterprise Network
Please join us for the final pitching session for the Entrepreneurs’ Gathering of 2005. This is a very special evening completely dedicated to Investors and Entrepreneurs. The VC Task Force Entrepreneurs’ Gathering is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to network with investors and other CXOs, present their company and idea, and hear first-hand what it takes to raise early-stage capital in 2005. Each of our first four events have consistently drawn an excellent entrepreneur-to-investor ratio.
If you are an entrepreneur in a Bay Area startup and currently seeking capital, come prepared with your best 30-second elevator pitch a minimum of six copies of your Executive Summary.
If you are an investor come and listen to entrepreneurs’ pitches. You never know where you’ll find your next deal. Find out how the current panel of investors rate the entrepreneurs’ pitches; which VCs pass and for what reasons and which entrepreneurs other VCs want to talk to ASAP. Please let us know if you would like to participate on one of our panels.
During the evening, a select number of entrepreneurs will present their pitch to the entire room. Our distinguished panel of 4-6 early stage investors will ask questions and provide brief feedback. Previous panelists have included investors from Vantage Point, Hummer Winblad, Interwest, LeapFrog, Intel Capital, BlueRun, Apax Partners, Levensohn, Keiretsu forum, Sand Hill Angels, and many others. The event is moderated by Nathan Beckord and Susan Boedy of VentureArchetypes. Please note that pitching time limits will be strictly enforced!
Our lively panel discussion and Q&A will also provide critical insight into what it takes to raise capital today.
Our esteemed panel: Matt Fix, Intel Capital Cindy Padnos, Venture Partner, Outlook Ventures Prashant Shah, Principal, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners John Steuart, Managing Director, Claremont Creek Ventures
